~Live Long and Prosper~

Heyooo so today I watched my favorite movie!

But before we get to that, quick update on movies I've watched since my Superman adventure.

#10: Superman II
(same genres as Superman)
I was drunk when I rewatched this and fell asleep halfway through, but it still counts.

#11: Stardust
Genres: Fantasy, Based off Book, Romance
Ok, so I do actually love this movie-- and the book!-- and I considered making the fourth genre Fancy Hair, but decided that was ridiculous

#12: The Sting
 Genres: Bromance, Shenanigans, Happiness
I adore The Sting. Introduced to me by my father, this movie is great. First time I watched it, I thought that the SPOILERPERSON actually SPOILERDIED so that was exciting

Movie #13

Star Trek!!!!

Genres: Remake, Bromance, Friendship=Magic

Soooooooooooo for whatever reason, this is my favorite movie of all time.
I find that fact super perplexing; like.... why???? Why is this movie my favorite???
I hadn't watched more than two episodes of the original Star Trek before I saw this one in college (and yes, I do love the show, now that I've watched it) I saw this movie about three more times in the theater within that week, and that was the start of five years of me adoring this movie.

First time I saw this, I'd finished a Heroes marathon not too many months ago and I think I spent the entire movie screaming (in my head) "SYLAR!!!!!!! IT'S SYLAR DON'T TRUST HIM HE IS GOING TO KILL YOU SYLAR AARRGHHHH SO EVILOMG HE IS GOING TO KILL EVERYONE"

here's Hiro Nakamura

So yes, Star Trek.

Hightlights:
Chris Pine's lovely blue eyes
Zachary Quinto being amazingly bad-ass
Beautiful bromance
Um Eomer. Er. Bones. He is great
Simon Pegg
Charlie Bartlett
Ok, the whole cast. They cast this film so well
Space is so pretty

Lowlights:
Not enough lady characters!
Can I count the disappointing sequel as a lowlight to this movie?
The blue light that is always present.

This is the story of Thor's and Dr. Cameron's baby, who grows up in Iowa and gets into fights.
YOU GOT NUMB TONGUE? I CAN FIX THAT.
I enjoy the way Bones stabs Kirk with needles the whole movie.

Ok, I could go on about this movie nonsensically for a while, so I'm going to end it here.

I lied, I wasn't finished.

toodles!

Superman

This episode has been brought to you by a bottle of Riesling So, movie #8 was Sydney White No need to worry, I brought it Genres: Some Geekery, Amanda Bynes, Fairytale Highlights: Amanda Bynes not crazy all the sneaky geekery references awkwardly based off Snow White Lowlights: They could've made her SUCH a geek her hair. the whole movie. There is something off about it. I mean, this movie is ok. Also, why is Amanda Bynes a genre? Mysterious. I sort of zoned out while watching this and read webcomics instead. Still, it's cute. anyway, onto tonight's main attraction (attractive man whaaaaat) SUPERMAN   Genres: Superhero, Action, Fangirl ...does the Fangirl genre count if I'm the only fangirl? yes. So, this is the story of Kal-El, who was sent to earth as a wee babe because his native home of Krypton was about to BLOW THE HECK UP. He is adopted by a possible Minnesotan (Jonathan Kent, I'm l

Magic Carpet

As it turns out, in Andria, three witches control the magical shenanigans that always seem to be happening. Is it super weird to have them travel by magic carpet? Brooms just seem ridiculously inconvenient, not to mention uncomfortable, and really not practical for traveling long distances. I mean, not like a magic carpet's super practical either.

Three Witches

Let's be real; I'm not good at blogging. Still, I decided to put up an update for the world to enjoy! The cover for Andrian Adventures is in the works, and I've now finished one whole chapter of Part Two, which probably gets me a huge celebration, and maybe a trip to Lion's Tap. This means that I now have one chapter and two half chapters completed, which is exciting stuff, you know, considering that I've been "working" on Part Two since... June. Also, I was at the library today (when am I not at the library?) and re-discovered all of my teenage-hood author crushes. Notably Patricia C. Wrede, who I'm still willing to fan stalk around the Twin Cities until we can become best friends. Disclaimer-- I've never creepily stalked her... well, only online, which doesn't count. Right? Right. It's fun getting back into YA fantasy... I think during college and after I graduated I decided that I wanted to read Big Kid Books so I've mostly been
